Ryan Moilliet - Bass

Ryan Wesley Keir Moilliet started his choral journey as a young lad in the Toronto Children’s Chorus singing from 1994-2000 under the baton of Jean Ashworth Bartle. Since TCC, Ryan has sung in vocal ensembles such as: The Ridley Singers, Ridley Chapel Choir, WIBI a cappella, York University Chamber Choir, York University Concert Choir, and finally York University Men’s Choir. It was here that he be-friended Floyd Ricketts and Walter Mahabir receiving the opportunity to perform with The Nathaniel Dett Chorale for the King Edward Barrie Choir concert. Ryan is a recent graduate of York University receiving a Hon. BA with a specialization in Theatre Studies. Currently Ryan is a bass section leader for his home choir at Humber Valley United Church, as well as for the Etobicoke Centenniel Choir. He is also a founding member of the a cappella quartet Catch-Phrase. This is Ryan’s first season with The Nathaniel Dett Chorale.
