Our opening concert of the 2023-24 season features the Nguzo Saba Suite and seasonal favourites celebrating Kwanzaa and the Black Virgin.
The programme will feature Nguzo Saba Suite by Glenn Edward Burleigh, as well as works in praise of the Black Madonna by Bax, Carter, Casals, Courtney, Łukaszewski, and Poulenc.
The repertoire also commemorates significant anniversaries of death and birth of several of the composers.
