Metro’s Homegrown Tour is coming to Oakville. During Canada’s 150th birthday year we want to celebrate food, music and Canadian history. Although lesser-known, the town of Oakville is an extension of the underground railroad, and was the gateway to Canada for many African-Americans, as early as the 1830s. In a celebration of Canadian freedom we invite you to join us for an incredible evening.
The best celebrations in life include food and music. Which is why we are bringing Choir! Choir! Choir! and The Nathaniel Dett Chorale to perform the best of Canadian music. Plus a walk-on appearance by a JUNO award winning artist.
